Dr. Sandra Garcia-Iryami

Dr. Sandra Garcia-Iryami is a highly trained general dentist serving the New York metro area. She received her bachelor of science degree from New York University in 1986.

She then continued on to receive her doctorate from Columbia University, School of Dental and Oral Surgery in 1990. After receiving her dental degree, she decided to continue on with her dental education. Dr Garcia went on to the VA Medical Center in the Bronx where she completed a program in advanced training in general dentistry(1990-91). While at the VA she treated many veterans and also examined hundreds of soldiers that were going to be deployed to Operation desert storm. She gained an abundance of information and respect from all the men and women in uniform she treated. “They are the bravest, most disciplined and dedicated group of individuals I have ever met.” A few years later she opened up her general dental practice in Valley Stream, NY. She and her husband, Dr Iryami, who she met back in dental school, practice together in this office. They have been practicing dentistry together for over 20 years.

She is fluent in Spanish. When not practicing dentistry, she loves to travel, go to the theatre and spend quality time with family.
